It's Almost Christmas!!

It's almost Christmas! It has been a very long time since my last post!

Alot has happened. I have managed to make only one B on my report card (the one i mentioned earlier) and it will average in as an A. So I'm good! :D I'm really happy the first semester is over and that I made it through midterms. It has all gone by really really fast.

I've been working really hard between school, cheerleading, band, and my new thing...track team!

Track is alot of fun. We are just conditioning now and until February. Then official tryouts start. It's really exciting. I like it alot.

Oh and band...we recently had Christmas Concert. In the jazz portion, I had two solos! I was sooo nervous. But it was a great experience.

Now I am at my Dad's house. We just had cookie baking day. I wish we could have been with everyone in Minnesota...but it was fun too! Check out the cookie baking day blog.

We plan on going to Shady Grove either tonight or tomorrow. I think it's going to be lots of fun.

Well, that's all for now. I'll post another one soon! Have a good Christmas!
Bye!

Homecoming Week!

My first high school homecoming week is here! Its been everything I thought it would be and more :) I've been waiting forever for this.
So everyday after school I've been working on the freshman float for the parade. Tomorrow after school is the last day to work on it, so we'll be adding the finishing touches.
The theme for the whole homecoming is The Olympics. Each float has its own theme. Our float is Austalia and Swimming. It looks awesome and we're working really hard! All the upperclassmen have been saying its one of the best freshman floats they've ever seen. I'm glad they say that considering how hard we're working. Everyone is working together very well. I'm having fun being in charge as the class president :D but I'm not being bossy or anything. I'm making sure everyone works together and shares ideas. So its going good!
So this is what has happened so far this fabulous week:

Monday: International Day! People were supposed to dress up like many different countries. But only a few people did. I was too lazy :P hehe. I just wore some red white and blue. After school we stayed after and started on floats.

Tuesday: Twin day! Some friends and I dressed up like hippies. We tie dyed shirts and wore head bands and peace signs and flared jeans! It was awesome and colorful!
Once again we stayed after school and worked on floats. After that the girls all participated in a powder puff football game.
First game..the seniors vs. the sophomores. (Seniors won)
Second game..the freshman vs. the juniors. (Freshman won)
Championship game!: The seniors won. :( But it was close!
So..I had a blast playing! I worked so hard and I'm so sore and all bruised up. But it was totally worth it! :)

Wednesday: Nerd day/ silly sock and hat day. I wore some silly socks and pulled my pants up over my belly. Also a stupid little hat and my glasses. I didnt get too into it but alot of other people did. It was hilarious!
Once again we stayed again for float building. We're almost finished.

Thursday: 80's day!! We dress likes the 80's! I'm wearing a big sweatshirt and leggings and teasing my hair. Also lotsa makeup. I'm super excited. Its gonna be awesome. We'll stay again and finish up the floats then walk over to a big bonfire and car bash. People will bring guitars and it should be fun :)

Friday: Blue and White Spirt Day! Game day! Everyone wears blue and white. I'm making a shirt that says my name and Homecoming 2008. Its awesome. I'm definitely ready. The floats will be in a parade at about noon and I'll march with the band and play songs. That night is the game and we're playing an easy team of course. I'm ready!

Well that was a long description of this week but its been alot of fun and I'm hoping it will get even better! :)

Report cards and things.

Well not much has happened since the last update...
I got my first six weeks report card. I had all A's and one B. The B was in my Honors Biology I class. Its pretty tough in there but I'm studying even harder this six weeks. So I think that I should have an A for my first semester average. And that is good because thats what matters with my GPA. Yayy :) so im glad that im doing better.
I thought I would let you know what my schedule is for this year in case anyone wanted to know...
1. Keyboarding/ Document Formatting.
2. Alegebra II
3. Honors Biology I
4. Honors English I
5. Health/ P.E.
6. Spanish I
7. Band

So that is my schedule. Its exciting. Everything is mostly easy. It has been kind of a tough transition from junior high to high school, but I will make it. It's getting better every day.

I'm super glad to be on fall break. Its good to have a couple days to relax and hang out with friends. However I have plenty of marching band activities throughout my break so its not all relaxing time, but its no big deal.

Last week we went to a competition and won first in our class. It was awesome. We came home with six trophies. Hoooooray :D We will have a ball game to perform at on friday but we wont have a competition this Saturday. (Finally a break :] )
So that is good! Yay!

Thats about it for now. Remember, email me if you have any questions. ♥

Long time...no blog.

It has been a very very long time since I've posted a new blog! So I thought I would update it. Since my last, I went to my eighth grade banquet, graduated junior high, went on summer vacation and started my freshman year of high school!!
Eighth grade banquet was amazing!! I felt like a princess :) I danced and ate and sang. It was like a dream. The place looked beautiful. I went to a friends house for a bonfire party afterwards. Many of the people from the banquet were there too.
The next day, which began spring break, I went with my mom, my step dad frank, natalie, and my cousin clay to Gulf shores. I had lots of fun.
In May, I graduated Junior High school!! I had a 97 grade average. I won the Principals award and got a $200 dollar scholarship. I cried! I miss my teachers and staff and the school so much. Afterwards, I went to my friends house for a party and many other eighth graders were there. It was a blast.
Summer was pretty cool. Like I previously mentioned, I went to Washington DC with other eighth graders. I had a blast and learned alot! There have been a lot of things I've seen on post cards and tv that I actually got to see in person. So it was awesome.
Like always, the Minnesota trip was amazing. I had fun seeing lots of family. I went to Monica's wedding shower. I went to valley fair with uncle tom and Joey. And like always I went to the makeover sleepover. We took many many trips to Culvers. Yum :P and I got to meet my cousin Katy. She was lots of fun.
At the end of July, I attended Marching band camp. It lasted two weeks. It was pretty fun I guess. We now have our show completed. We went to a competition at UT Martin and placed 7th out of 20 in our division.
I started high school at the beginning of August. Its been very different. But I'm enjoying it and doing well. It's been a blast getting new teachers, meeting new friends, and being in a new building. I ran for class president and won the election! Its lots of fun. I get to be in charge of the freshman homecoming float. All that is coming up soon so it's exciting.
I tried out for freshman cheerleading. I made it! I've learned alot so far. We cheer for the freshman basketball team starting in November. I'm very excited.
On August 18, I turned 14! I had a sleepover with about 15 girls. It was a blast. Thank you everybody for my gifts!
Well so far 2008 is awesome! I'm loving it. If you have any questions, email me. And I will try my best to remember to update this! :)

Eighth Grade

Well this eighth grade year is almost to an end. It has definitely had its ups and downs but most the time I had a blast. Epecially because we were the oldest in the school!!
I had lots of fun cheerleading for my school basketball and football teams. I was on a squad with a 13 amazing girls!! We attended NCA Cheer Camp last summer. I had lots of fun and learned alot.
I'm sad cheerleading is coming to an end. I'm going to help with tryouts next week and I hope to future cheerleading squad is even better.
I also took part in many other acitivities such as playing on my county soccer league, school concert band and jazz band. I played saxophone. I was also president of the beta club, a member of sparks united and the history club.
I have had a busy busy year with all my acitivities and then all of the sleepovers and parties I went to with my friends.
With just a few months to go in my eighth grade year, I hope to continue making straight A's.
I'm really excited about the eighth grade banquet coming up in April. The theme is Over the Rainbow (or something like that.) I already have my dress which is turquiose. I'm going with my guy friend, Frank. I'll post lotsa pictures.
I hope the next few months go by fast. I am ready for summer break. I am going on a trip to Washington D.C. with my History teacher and some eighth grade classmates. I also hope to go to Minnesota and at the end of the Summer I'm going to attend marching band camp. So I should have an exciting summer. I can't wait until I get to high school. My friends and I are all very excited about it.
Right now I am in Shady Grove with Daddy, Jessica, and Laurie. And of course JJ. She looked super cute in her bunny ears we put on her. She even found a few eggs on the Egg hunt. Laurie cooked a great meal. The ham was fantastic!
On Wednesday I got my braces off. I've had them on about two and a half years and I was very glad to get them off. My teeth felt very smooth and the first thing I did at lunch was bite into an apple!! I very happy about my new smile. I have hardly stopped smiling!

Hmmm...there is not much I can think of right now. I'll update my blog again soon. Thanks for reading!!
